Welcome to the very first issue of our online newletter. We've come a long way in the last 3 years,
and we have all of you to thank for it! As President and Founder of Rittenhouse Archives and www.scifihobby.com,
I look forward to even more good things as we create new science fiction and fantasy-based trading cards and
collectables in the days, months and years ahead.

The first few months of 2002 have been steady, largely due to a lack of product since the beginning of the year.
The release schedule for the remainder of the year will definitely make up for any lack of product up to now.
This should make the market as a whole become much more active. Autographs and costume cards are driving the
market.

Star Trek 1991 by Lynne Stewart

Although several Star Trek card sets were produced in the 60's, 70's, and 80's, most people would point to the 1991 Impel set
as the beginning of their Star Trek card collection. This 310-card set was released as part of the large 25th
Anniversary of Star Trek celebrated that year, and featured cards covering the characters, actors, technology,
episodes and memorabilia.
