RE: Twin Peaks
This is a call for anyone who has a variant copy of the Harry Goaz Classic Autograph card... I am looking for "I can change a tire" or "Eat your food." If you have either of these, please get in contact with me ASAP. I am willing to generously trade or buy outright for TOP dollar! Please email me! I can be reached at beboldt@gmail.com ;-) Thank you. Brian

I'm also in for a second set, more original auto's and maybe a fire walk with me movie sub-set ;)

Don't like to brag but I got the Lynch/MacLachlan duel in my case ;)

RE: Twin Peaks
Looks like this set is a smash hit. David Lynch's single auto and dual with MacLachlan in particular are selling for big $. Kudos to Rittenhouse for putting it all together. Hopefully this bodes well for a potential second set.

RE: Twin Peaks
Thanks! Looks like Harry Goaz has some variants too, where he writes out a quote!

RE: Twin Peaks
Interesting autograph variant that I spotted -- on 3 of the first 4 Piper Laurie autographs to hit eBay she actually signed her birth name - "Rosetta Jacobs". On the fourth one she signed "Piper Laurie".

RE: Twin Peaks
Dear Brian, You noted/asked: "My plan was to open everything up to build a set and then sell/trade everything remaining so that I can buy/trade my way to a master set! Is that how you guys do it? What's the trick? What is the most efficient way to complete something challenging like this without having to spend thousands and thousands of dollars, or is that just the way it is?" You've been out of it for a long time, so . . . Sadly, your question is the ideal. But run the numbers. With ideal collation, it would take you 4 CASES to assemble the 90-card retro-parallel set. There are well over 24 autographs in the set. In simplest terms, if you're looking to truly assemble a master set (a real master set), purchasing a single case will not net you anything extra to sell off to fund the rest of your buying, save common sets. Or a duplicate autograph (which, if it's a duplicate, it is likely to be more common and, thus, being dumped on eBay). If you want a true master set, there are incentive cards, archive box exclusive cards . . . and cards you can only find in the cases (like the retro parallel cards). The industry is vastly different than it was in the 1990s when the last "Twin Peaks" set came out. If you want a true master set, it will cost thousands and thousands of dollars: keep in mind that - by the stated odds - there is not a single chase set you will be able to assemble (or have extras of to sell off to fund more buying!) with a single case. Should you be excited? Absolutely! This looks to be an amazing set of cards. But you should know that collecting has become a very serious business and looking at the numbers of this set, a single case will not net you the ability to achieve your stated goal(s). Good luck and happy collecting! Sincerely, W.L. Swarts

This is a traditional box and pack set. Order sheet sent to dealers shows 5 cards per pack, 24 packs per box, 12 boxes per case. Just like a normal Rittenhouse set. And the inserts are listed as 1:12 packs and the like, again just like a normal set. Ed

RE: Twin Peaks
Can someone confirm a Twin peaks box has 24 pks with included inserts ? I plan on a case, opening the packets and finding the autos,a factory set has no fun.

RE: Twin Peaks
I was just told that it does not..... "The base set is not wrapped in a unique package or box just shrink wrapped as a set. They are not limited per se, but we dont usually make more than a few dozen base sets in addition to the cards that are inserted into the packs. We simply make these sets as a convenience for those collectors or fans who only want the base cards and do not care to open packs."

RE: Twin Peaks
Hello there!!!!! I wanted to introduce myself. I joined this site to get the P1 Promo Card and then saw this thread. The last time I collected cards was about 30 years ago with my father... baseball. Well, I am a HUGE Twin Peaks fan, and I have a set of the 90s Star Pics, which are "okay," but I am SO, SO, SO excited about this!!!!!!! I already pre-ordered a case of boxes and a case of binders. My plan was to open everything up to build a set and then sell/trade everything remaining so that I can buy/trade my way to a master set! Is that how you guys do it? What's the trick? What is the most efficient way to complete something challenging like this without having to spend thousands and thousands of dollars, or is that just the way it is? Of course, anyone reading this who lives in the Seattle area and is doing the same thing as me PLEASE reach out. We can get together and do an even trade on things to bolster our sets! Anyway, that is all, just reaching out! I really can't believe how excited I am about this! Best, Brian
